Scholarships are available for students (student and adult) in need of financial aid for Danville Art League classes. To apply download our scholarship form. You can also call the Art League and we will be happy to mail a form to you.
***All classes are sponsored in part by the Illinois Art Council***
Please call (217) 442-9264 to register, and leave your name, address, phone number, and e-mail. Registration and payment must be made a week before the class. You may pay in person during open hours or mail your payment to Danville Art League, P.O. Box 772, Danville, IL 61834. Online payment is not available for classes at this time.

After School Children's Classes
1st through 6th Graders
Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
**Fall Class Session began August 23, but it is not too late to start. If interested, call the Art League and cost will be adjusted. Fall Session runs through Wednesday October 11th.
2nd Fall Session begins Wednesday October 18th. There will be a week off for Thanksgiving and classes will end Wednesday December 13th.
Cost $60 per student with a sibling discount provided.
All supplies are provided.
Advanced Teen Class meets on Mondays from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Cost: $60 for an 8-week session per student with a sibling discount provided. All supplies are provided.
Adult Classes
Adult Classes
The Late Bloomers class is for anyone interested in art. The class is especially for retired people who want to learn about and do art. This class is for you if you have always wanted to be an artist, but just didn’t know how to get started. Also, questions are welcome!
The Fall Session will run through October 10, 2023.
Classes are held on Tuesday from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.
Cost is $60 for eight weeks. All supplies are provided.

Intermediate Alcohol Ink Class

Cost: $25 for members; $30 for non-members
Instructor Bonnie Bodensteiner will teach alcohol techniques including layering, blending and manipulation of inks.
Pick up the supply list at the Art League or submit your email address when registering.
Class size is limited to 12 Students.

Wire Wrapped Jewelry Class

10 am to 12 pm
Cost: $30
Instructor Julie Colby
Supplies needed:
-Small needle nosed pliers
-wire cutters
-item to wrap, roughly the size of a quarter and maybe the thickness of a pencil.
**Julie may be able to provide some stones, but they will be limited. These will cost from $3 to $5
Sarah Lee's healing stones in downtown Danville also offers cabachons.
